    Then move this folder to your vehicles folder in VSF. Then copy the panels, instruments, weapons and other folders to the folder you just copied to your desktop. In that case, copy the contents of the boats folder to your desktop, it should be just one folder with the name of the ship. If you find a "boats" folder and maybe other folders, it's a VS boat. If you find a "vehicles" folder, simply copy the contents to your vehicles folder in your VSF folder. The self extracting files don't necessary work well for ships made for Virtual Sailor, but do if they're made for VSF. WinRar is free if you don't already have it. Then I right click and select "Open with WinRar" which gives me the contents of the download, even if it's an EXE self extracting file. I download and copy the file to my desktop.
